A beverage degasser for rapid
sampling
While sample decarbonation is critical for the
accurate analysis of diet syrup concentration
and tritratable acidity, it also remains the
most time consuming step in either procedure.
Incomplete or inconsistent decarbonation leads
to erratic or erroneous results. Until

A properly running on-line monitor
requires good calibration technique. The
GAC DeCarbonator provides rapid and
complete decarbonation in less than 3
minutes on all types of carbonated
beverage products. In operation,
pressurized air is finely dispersed
through a sintered filter at a controlled
flow rate into the beverage sample.
One DeCarbonator can run two samples
simultaneously leading to rapid, accurate
and consistent laboratory results for diet
products.
