Casing Hangers

FMC offers a complete line of mandrel and slip casing hangers to meet all requirements.

Mandrel hangers can be provided with integral or independent sealing and in fluted and non-fluted configurations to allow circulation within the wellhead system. Standard or premium threads are provided to suit each application. FMC's slip-type casing hangers range from non-automatic slip hangers having independent seal rings such as FMC's C-21 to high load capacity, fully automatic sealing designs such as the C-129 hanger. All automatic sealing hangers contain a seal, which is below the slip assembly. This feature prevents the exposure of the slips to the well environment.


FMC has a long experience record for producing reliable slip hangers for suspension, tensioning and annular isolation of oilfield tubulars during well completion operations. In recent years, increasing well temperatures, higher capacity tubulars and standardized requirements within the industry have driven wellhead manufacturers to develop higher capacity slip hangers with improved resistance to well fluids.
