Using a Stork ICS line provides the opportunity
to fill, sterilize and package all kinds
of products in a wide range of containers.
The most current are: cans, glass bottles
and jars, pouches, tubs, plastic bottles,
plastic pots and jars.
Stork offers two types of in container sterilization
processes. The first is a continuous proces,
suitable for high capacities, called the
Hydromatic. Traditionaly continuous sterilizers
were dedicated to a specific application.
The latest generation of Stork Hydromatic
continuous sterilizers, the Hydromatic Vario,
offers retort flexibility with Hydromatic
economy.
The second is a Retort system suitable for
low to medium capacity requiring flexibility.
By combining Hydromatic systems and retorts
we provide our customers the opportunity
to configure a processing system matching
optimal with current and future market developments.
Noticing a current increasing need for flexibility
Stork developed a concept called Flexible
Future. The underlying principle is the
Vario Cassette: a concept which serves to
carry the products during in-plant transport
and sterilisation. The Vario Cassette is
suitable both for retorts and continuous
sterilizers and is designed so that it can
be used for products packaged in a wide
variety of container types.
